Bruce Strong, Asscoiate professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, teaches a variety of classes in multimedia storytelling, photography, photojournalism, broadcast news, and video and audio storytelling.

PHO 530 MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLING |
PHO 530 helps students learn to tell stories whether they be based on fashion/advertising or photojournalism. Utilizing a variety tools, such as audio, video and still photography, students gather content and then produce the final project using a variety of computer programs, such as Final Cut Pro. |

PHO 605 / 405 PHOTOJOURNALISM |
PHO 605/405 focuses on learning the principles and practices of photojournalism, with the emphasis on using the visual language to speak with impact about a variety of topics. Students will learn about how to tackle assignments ranging from portraits, sports, features and news to longer term projects as a photo stories and photographic essays. |

PHO 625 / 425 Editing and Multimedia Storytelling |
PHO 625 / 425 students will continue to learn how to gather meaningful audio/still/video content while developing a deeper understanding of editing, both traditional still photography editing as well as multimedia production/editing.
